TDA's Mission reveals Â that social mobilization is one of the key tasks. Moreover, TDA believes that without active community participation all activities planned at office would be hard to achieve their expected goals. Due to this fact, TDA tried to involve the public in all projects it designed.
Among all, the conversion campaign of Makeshifts to standard classes was the one that needs to be told. TDA managed to convert 411 makeshifts within three years (2009 - 2012). Out of the aforementioned schools and additional classes,Â Only 72 were converted by the business community and other donor organizations. The remained 339 schools and additional classes were converted by active community participation. This is an indicator to TDA's firm believe on public participation.
