It was disclosed during the Ambassador Ship Certificate Award ceremony held on 28 April 2009 (Miazia 19 2001 E.C) in the Martyrs Hall staged by United for Change Integrated Training and Development Organization in collaboration with the Bureau of Labor and Social Affairs and HIV/AIDS Prevention and Control office of Tigrai region.
So far 28 governmental and NGO institutions in Tigrai region decided to bring-up a total of 216 orphaned and poor children, of these employees of TDA will sustainably bring up five children.
One hundred fifty birr will be provided monthly to each child. W/ro Aster Amare is assigned and awarded certificate of Ambassador Ship-Mothers to be Mother Ambassador to take care of these children on behalf of TDA employees.
