TDA Donates Medical Equipments

 TDA donated different medical materials to Mekelle Hamline Fistula center (which it obtains from Path Finder) which worth over 81,000 birr.

 The donation includes 30 plastic cover hospital beds with mattress, 120 pairs of sheets, 60 blankets, 30 pygmies and 30 boxes of detergents.  

  
 During the handing -over ceremony held on 7 September, 2007 in the hospital compound Executive Director of TDA, Ambassador Tewolde Gebru said that TDA has been working with Path Finder in different areas, and currently is working in 3 woredas on representative health family planning and HIV/AIDS. He further noted that such a kind of donation will continue. 
 Director of the Mekelle Hamline Fistula center Dr. Melaku Abraha on his part said that the donation (the center received ) has a great role to improve the delivery of quality health .He thanked TDA and Path Finder in the name of Dr. Catrine and of the beneficiaries.         
 Mekelle Hamline Fistula center was established on 7, February, 2006 by the fund from the government of Australia and initiative of Dr. Hamline. Some 442 patients have benefited from the center So far.  
TDA has donated different medical equipments that worth over 20 million birr to different health institutions across the region.
