Ato Biniam Birhune (investor) Ato Nega Berhe Eastern Zone chief administrator, Ato Mehari Hagos TDA representative and W/ro Roman G/Sillassie, Head of Women’s Affairs Bureau together cut the ribbon and inaugurated the library during the ceremony held on 16 February, 2010 (09, Yekatit 2002 E.c).
Ato Tewoldebirihan Tesfaalem chief wereda administrator on the occasion said that natives and our development supporters are working hard and providing knowledge and financial supports to solve the problem of their community with out getting bored and tired.
These supports are unerasable and unforgettable in the minds of the people. He also applauded and thanked Ato Biniam Brihane in the name of the community and the wereda administration, for his nobel contribution to the people. He finally expressed his hope and belief that Ato Biniam will be on the side of the people for the future.
TDA representative, Ato Mehari HAgos, congratulates for the inauguration of the library constructed by Ato Biniam who is one of the developmental investors who pledged to construct library during the Telethon conducted by TDA.
He also reminded of that TDA is implementing many development projects in Eastern Zone of Tigrai in general and in Saesi Tsaeda Emba wereda in particular. TDA will pursue implementing projects in a stronger manner.
Ato Biniam Birhane, an investor who completely funded and constructed the library, on the occasion said that by considering the past problem and suffer of school facility he happened to contribute his part.
He also appealed to the students to understand the importance of education to take over responsibility of developing the land.
He promised to complement all the necessary support. Finally, after he pledged to construct TVET in Freweini town, he provided 8 boxes of books entitled “Tsinat” litraly means “tenacity”.
Eastern Zone Chief administrators Ato Nega Berhe, on his part reminded that because of the unfair policies of the previous governments, our people was forced to lead miserable life. However, due to the bitter struggle and scarifies, of the people of Tigrai, glitterious victories are being registered.
Ato Biniam is one of the developmental investors who beliefs that one of the victories is ensuring quality education and hence construct a library. He thanked Ato Biniam for his outstanding contribution to ensure quality education.
Ato Nega finally recommended the youth to follow the footsteps of their antecedents in ensuring development.
“Biniam Brihane Atona Library” has got a capacity of providing services to over 500 students at a time.
