H.E Ato Tadesse Kassa member of the executive committee of EPRDF and representative of the regional government of Amhara and H.E. Ambassador Tewolde Gebru together cut the ribbon and inaugurated the school.
Ato Tadesse Kassa, on the occasion.Was, quated as saying “This dual developmental support shows the long- aged struggle relationship between the people of Amhara and Tigrai will stand strong through their leading parties i,e National Democratic Movement of Amhara and Tigrai Peoples Libration Front (TPLF) for the future.
The Chief Ofla wereda administrator, Ato Taju Mohammed on his part on the occasion said that, the school constructed by the NRGA with over 700,000 birr (Seven hundred thousand birr) is inaugurated on the occasion of the 35th years anniversary of the birth of TPLF and this makes it very historic and special.
Ambassador Tewolde Gebru, Executive Director of TDA, on the inauguration ceremony thanked and applauded the NRGA in the name of beneficiary school children and TDA. He also said that due to the development efforts of TDA so far 20 /twenty/ in Ofla wereda, and over 400 /Four hundred/ makeshift schools across Tigrai are changed in to buildings in one year.
The primary school constructed by NRGA in collaboration with TDA is complete school consisted of two big blocks and over 400 school children are librated from make shift school.
