In the inauguration ceremony, Ato Nega Berhe, the Zonal Chief Administrator of Eastern Zone, Chief administrator of Ganta Afeshum Wereda, Wereda Head of Education, teachers, members of the community and students were found. The community members, the teachers and the students were all singing local songs and they were showing their cultural dances. It was a very colorful celebration, where everyone was happy and appreciating the work of Ato Yohannes Teklai.

The students of the school were singing a song that showed the problems they had when they were learning in the Das classrooms (temporary shelters) before the construction of the new blocks. They said “Chaw chaw my das”.

Ato Nega Berhe, the Zonal Chief Administrator of Eastern Zone, made a speech appreciating the work of Ato Yohannes/YOTECH Construction PLC and he thanked him very much for keeping his promise and for his commendable work on behalf of the Zonal Administration Office and the people of the zone. He also thanked TDA for conducting such a successful Telethon and addressing the Pressing needs of the community.

Representatives of the community and the students also delivered speeches turn by turn and thanked Ato Yohannes/YOTECH Construction PLC for his generosity and excellent work. They thanked him repeatedly and expressed their pleasure. They also thanked TDA for all its efforts made to convert Dases to Classes and to address community needs in Tigrai Region.
