A project by the name CSPP-Community School Partnership Program funded by the USAID and Save The Children-US has distributed 1120 training manuals to 150 project schools in 16 weredas of four zones of Tigrai namely Southern, Eastern, Central and North Western.

The library which is constructed and inaugurated in Eastern Zone of Tigrai, Wereda Saisi Tsaeda Emba and Freweini  town was fully funded by Ato Biniam Birhane Atona. It is located in the compound of Tekli Sweat Secondary School.

The school constructed in South Eastern zone of Tigrai, Seharti Samre wereda Gijet kebele by the National Regional State of Somali in collaboration with the community of Gijet was inaugurated on February 20, 2010 (Yekatit 13, 2002 E.c) and began rending services.

The newly constructed school, that substitutes one of the model makeshift schools in Tgirai, and transferred to standard school is constructed in Eastern zone of Tigrai, Astbi wenberta wereda, Adi Messanu kebele and Afkera village was inaugurated in a very colorful and warm ceremony held on 21 February, 2010 (Yekatit 14, 2002 E.c).

The additional blocks, which are pledges of TDA telethon by owner of Dalol Stones and Cement Factor Ato G/Sillassie Asgedom, constructed in the compound of Woldu Nigusse Secondary School (Quiha) were inaugurated during the colorful ceremony held on 28 February 2010 (Yekatit 21, 2002 E.c). The two additional blocks have eight additional classrooms.

FACTS AND FIGURES AT A GLANCE
 
TDA is a tax exempt, nonprofit, community based development organization with more than one hundred forty thousand members all over the world, mainly in Tigrai Region. 
So far, over three million people have benefited from TDA’s projects.
 
Vision: To see a prosperous Tigrai free from poverty and backwardness. 

Mission: Solicit resource from members, governmental and non governmental organizations, supporters and other sources and enhancing active community participation to initiate and effectively work on demand-driven development programs in the areas of education, health and skill training specifically where the government lacks capacity to act up on.

Major values: Community participation, transparency, efficiency and effectiveness, Equity and fairness, accountability, gender sensitive, rule of law and responsiveness.
